Blu Hawaii Pomeranians is an associate member (Patron) of the American Pomeranian Club and is in good standing with the American Kennel Club.  We abide by the Club’s Constitution and Bylaws, the Code of Ethics, rules of the American Kennel Club and promote the best interests of the Pomeranian.

Our commitment:

To promote the public's knowledge and appreciation of dogs in general and Pomeranians in particular.

To encourage and promote quality in the breeding of pure-bred Pomeranians and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection. We do not participate in crossbreeding and the sale of puppies that have been crossbred. We do not provide stud services to those that do not fully adhere to APC and AKC (Bylaws, Code of Ethics, rules, etc.).

To produce, publish, and distribute to our buyers and the general public educational materials about the proper care, treatment, breeding, health, development and training of Pomeranians.

To support and promote study and research on the history, character, breeding, genetics and particular health problems of the Pomeranian. Our Dams, Sirs and puppies are health cleared, DNA/OFA tested and AKC Registered.

To acknowledge and advance the critical role of an AKC recognized parent club in providing education, health research and support of rescue and reduction of overpopulation for the benefit of the general public, purebred dogs and Pomeranians in particular.

To encourage members and breeders to strive for the prevention of cruelty to animals, particularly Pomeranians. 

​

To encourage the organization of independent local Pomeranian Specialty Clubs in those localities where there are sufficient fanciers of the breed to meet the requirements of the American Kennel Club.

​

To urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which Pomeranians shall be bred to and judged.

To do all in its power to protect and advance the well-being and best interests of the breed and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience, agility and rally trials, and other such activities and events as may be held under the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club.

To conduct activities including sanctioned matches, specialty shows, obedience, agility and rally trials, and other such activities and events as may be held under the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club.  At Blu Hawaii Pomeranians, we are active participants in conformation.​
